Hi guys. Newby here.

My zed is not running very well at the mo, miss firing on at least one cyclinder. Havnt had much time to give it a proper diagnoses, but straight away I can see the injector wiring at the connectors has definitely seen better days. I've seen repair harnesses on the net from the USA. Does anyone supply them from the uk?? I'd also like to do the coil harnesses as well for good measure if I can.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom,before wading in with new plugs which may create more problems its best to ascertain why you have a misfire first, coil packs rarely fail and the plugs dont corrode like the injectors.with the car running pull each coil pack plug off in turn too narrow down the mis fire listening for a change in engine note.Once youve isolated the cylinder not firing, swap the spark plug out,if the fault travels you know its the spark plug,if not and it stays on the same cylinder you know its electrical, next check the injector plug connection,it will probaly be corroded and green.give it a clean and see if it sorts the problem.Report back on here after.

Thanks for the reply. Found 3 cylinders miss firing. Injector connector pins are green and corroded. Cleaned them up best I could and managed to get another cyclinder firing. Definatley needs new connectors and possibly injectors to be cleaned. Is there anyone in the uk that can supply the connector repair kits?

Thanks

eBay has these, item number 331567784840

I have bought Zed bits from this guy and can recommend him
