funniest moment since owning my z( which has been a month) was in a place called abertridwr where upon two lads were in the middle of the road as me and z pulled up and were heard saying fcuk me!!! really loud followed by its a lamborghini !!! which caused a rather large grin to appear on my face ,my best moment since owning my dream motor it was , :D anyway down to business i got an oil leak on autobox looks like it problably have to be removed as it,s leaking propshaft side though its not a bad leak . how hard a job is it to take out cheers;)

Also had a 16 year old girl come up to me asking for a ride as i was sitting at lights, unfortuently was on my way home :)

Its a white zed, I am rarely in Romford now, I go to see my grandparents every now and then in dagenham and drive up the a13 2-3 times a months,

Yeah it's amazing some of the things people do when they see a Z. It's even worse now I've got the body kit on.

 

I've had guys working at petrol stations ask me if its a Lamborghini, Bugatti EB110, Ferrari.

McDonalds drive thru staff always seem to think it's a Ferrari too.

 

Since having the car back kitted up for 2 days I must have had about 20 lads shouting stuff at me.

I was discussing this with Johnny at GPS and he said you will notice people do the most stupid things without even thinking that they must look like total tits!

 

Here's a few choice examples from the last 8 hours of driving in my normally quiet town:

My best moment was when i was at Maranello parked outside the ferrari factory, i took a pic and we were back in South Africa, sitting at My wifes Aunt (who thinks shes part of the royal family) so we are showing her our holiday pics and she sees the one i took at the facotry, and say "i suppose your going to say thats your car " :D:D well she was most upset when i pointed out Vanessa sitting in the passanger seat bwhahahaha. the look on her face ill never forget.

 

Oh other funny parts.

Putting a hole the size of a 50pence coin in my piston right outside the Colloseum during the 2000 festivities (6 million people in ROME) i came to a halt in the prime ministers driveway lmao.

...removing the prop from an auto box is not difficult. You have to do it if you replace the centre bearing, so have a look on the USA TT website for details about centre bearing replacement. Basically, get the car up in the air, remove exhaust from cats back, mark where the diff mates to the prop, remove a few bolts inc centre bearing and it just pulls out of the gearbox. Don't know how difficult it is to replace the seal though...

Just reading some of the comments you all get in your ZX's. I have owned a brand new Lexus GS300 in Black for the last couple of years as my business car and never had a comment yet. I bought my 1990 ZX TT last week as my second car and parked outside the office where I work, within 2 mins the whole of the office block was out having a look passing compliments and admiring it. Worth every penny of the £5500 I paid just for that moment.

Half of them thought it was a Farrari at first.:D
