We're into the new year and i thought I'd post an update thread, my previous thread, all about issues wasn't what i really wanted to post but I was desperate to get her sorted.

I'll get this out there now. The reason i am broke is purely down to the fact I could see what performance this old girl still had, she had been neglected by her previous owner. Infrequent servicing, neglect of general running gear.

I have poured every free coin into the car and slowly seeing her true potential. My master cylinder went, days after i had spent a lot of hard earned on changing the exhausts, prop bearing, tension rods...a small list of parts basically.

I found that Delphi made decent reproductions of the Z master cylinders for a reduced price. Sadly the parts company I dealt with use a system that obviously needs updating, the one i tried fitting was from a Z31 and completely opposite in terms of fitment. I spent almost three weeks sourcing a replacement and in the end just asked for OEM from the states.

After a patient wait for the part it finally came and to my amazement, it was wrong again...this time not so major, the pipe work basically came out of the casting 90degree to one side instead of straight down like the one that was currently fitted.

With a small bit of pipe work made up she was ready to roll. Oh and a big thank you to member Groover, who managed to get me the exhausts to replace the bombs that were fitted...she now howls like a banshee...but not too much!

Some of you will recognise the workshop

That will likely be a LHD master cylinder that's why bud. Be interesting to see how you've got round that though as its a fair saving. Car looks good.
