Test Pipes. Good / Bad?

I was actually thinking to remove the stock ones and add a 3" aftermarket test pipes.

Is there any HP gains from this?

Am i going to have any problems?

Do i need anything else to install them?

Thanks

You gain with quicker turbo spool up times, it's worth it IMO.

Possible problems are... if the seals on the turbo aren't that wonderful, removing the backpressure (cats) can cause a oil leak. It's a risk I took, but not everyone wants to do this.

Mine are being replaced on Thursday as the cats are shot and I opted for test pipes
