I presume the seals have gone, clutch goes almost to the floor and i can't get it into gear. I can see there is a little oil on the lever inside the car to.

So to add to the list already building, this has to be sorted. I've only ever tackled this on a motorbike's brake system and that isn't too tricky.

A quick look on Ebay and i saw a couple, should i go for a particular make? I'm starting to lose faith in this car! :(

Thanks

Pull the carpet back. It's likely coming out the back and down the firewall. Rebuild is easy and cheap.

That's really unfortunate Mike, hope you manage to repair it and not loose hope :(

Yeah it was coming down the clutch pedal. Wasn't much but it's there, I need more light to see the carpet properly.

I had a look on Ebay today as Mike at MJP is in hospital right now, awaiting release.

Appears to be only the one for Z31 model from the UK...i'm trying to get something dispatched asap as i want to sort other items at the same time.

Shipping will be painful but you soul likely get it by the weekend through Z1.

Thanks, I have made an account, i'll probably get it from there to be honest.

It would likely be cheaper and easier through Mike but as you say...

Well i got to check out, i can't justify £105 for a little master cylinder! :(

I will look somewhere else.
