Hi All, I have a fuel smell when the car is started that seems to go when the car warms up. I want to change the fuel lines, can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the Bedfordshire area who may be able to assist me or have details on how I can approach this work. My local garage are not really ZX savvy? Thanks

Thanks Man, ace thread by JeffTT, just trying to find out as much as I can about the fuel line as I understand its in several sections both metal and pipe?

yeah, it's almost always the rubber pipe that leaks and some of them are hard to get to, always best to check when the car is cold and under pressure (with the pump primed)

 

Oh, and the nose is as good as the eye... :)

get bio friendly fuel hose. The ethanol is causing issues in old lines.
