Toshiba chromebook help

Chromebook help, anyone know owt about them, last week or so its started to keep refreshing the page when i type or sometimes from google search i press enter to navigate to chosen site and it just refreshes straight back to google search page, also when clicking onto settings it sometimes wont Let me click on them and jumps back to the top of the page, cant use it at all, its doing my head in, have tried to google it but cant find much, only had it a couple months

    It either sounds like a virus or has little one been feeding the keyboard with crumbs and sticky things ?
