Yes i have decided to keep my 300 and throw yet more money at it.

 

Anyone replcaed the sterring wheel with a non standard one?

 

If so where did you get it?

 

And did you need a boss?

 

Also what did the whole operation come in at?

alright mate not to sure on the steering wheels for the zeds but i do know mine came over from japan with a after market wheel on it and my cruise control doesnt work and ive had touble with the horn aswell i know a few others without c/c maybe due to a fault on the circuit bored behind the wheel.

You can get the hub kit from http://www.takakaira.com in Japan

I think it works out at about £80

It is a special one for the HICAS so don't try to use a standard one from most shops.

You can then mount a Momo or the other common makes onto this.

If you want to keep the cruise buttons you can extend the wires from the steering column and mount the button panel from the old wheel onto the dash or centre console somewhere.

I've got a good standard steering wheel if your one is a bit worn.
