Wanted to officially say goodbye to my car and all the bits out there.

Hi Guys

Just wanted to say it's been a long while since I have posted here or even owned my Zed, and am about to kill it's website off so if you want a last look at the pics or anything else now is your chance http://www.project300tt.com/quick-specs/. The last I heard it had been parted for bits and my wonderful wheels had been kerbed :( . I spent about 80K buying and doing the car and it took nearly two years to do, and it was a front page car and centre page pull out in Banzai magazine.

I loved and hated doing it at the same time, it was done tastfully without being over chaved as so many of these cars are, I should have broke the car as the sum of the parts were worth far more even second hand than the car sold for. I basically gave it away, to get shot as I needed the room in the garage for a nice piece of Italian :) .

Anyhows that's it for me, I have a nice MK1 Escort that I am doing at the moment, but surprisingly you never see any of them shown with fangs or teeth or anything cringeworthy as I guess it would be complete blasphamy in Ford circles LOL. Also ford parts are sooooooooo much cheaper woop woop.

Take care

Remember this very well and still have the magazine, very tasteful mods and detailing. Shame it's been broke for the parts; always a shame to see a Zed scrapped because the parts are worth more removed.

Good luck with your new Dagenham project.

If you're doing a build thread for the Escort post a link

Thanks for the memory Martin; it was indeed a shame how the car finished up:sad:

Good luck with your new project though - and do let us know how you are progressing!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Good luck in your future projects Max :clover: A lot of time and money was spent on your Z and I was very surprised that you sold it after all the hard work was done and you had very little time to enjoy it. Would you go for a high power build again?
