Fuel cap

I started car up after work and it wasn't running right, put it down to crap in the fuel as was fairly low and drove to petrol station. Opened the lid there to find the cap missing...

 

Now the car ran perfectly in the morning so I think I might have leaned on the lever when opening the boot. I'm thinking during the day some idiot with 3 brain cells saw the lid open and thought it would be funny to take the cap.... It was in a multi story parked next to the door so in clear view of everyone who walked onto that floor.

 

Tried an mx5 cap which fits but doesn't seem to seal so wondering if anyone has a spare to sell?
