Hi all,

Does the TT pump raise the fuel pressure more than 6Bar at any time?

Running 14- 15PSI of boost on a pretty much stock engine.

Thanks Dan

As standard the System should be at about 3 bar absolute. So at idle the should be about 33 psi and at 1 bar of boost the system should be at 4 bar absolute eg 45psi. I'm sure the stock pump can maintain a higher pressure than this though.

Is there a problem with your pump?

Thanks Dougal!

It's fuel filter related again as the one I'm looking at is rated to 6 bar!

So should be fine I guess.

;)

Hi Danny Boy and dougal

What is the Flow rate of the standard Fuel Filter ...do you know offhand ....is the Fuel filter on yer car danny old or do just maybe require a bigger flow rate ????

Cheers Boys ..Woop Wooop

the FPR rises 1psi per 1psi of boost when connected correctly .. Base 0 vac Setting is 43>45psi Depending on setup so if your Running 14 psi aprox .. thats 57>59psi .. 4 bar there abouts

The main thing to realise about the standard pump is that they are 25 years old and now prone to failure. As per every other Nissan of similar vintage, it should be renewed when carrying out any other upgrades.
