KPH to MPH

A question!

 

First thing I did on my Import was to convert KPH to MPH.

 

Would/does this mess with the A/T regards gear changing at higher engine revs or less smooth changes?

 

Ive always kept mine on the HOLD button because my A/T works really smooth in this mode.

 

Just a thought, but might be a dum Q!

    No, but the TPS does affect the gear changes if not set correctly, power steering can be affected due to the ecu being tricked into thinking its going slower, but that shouldnt bother you with the power steering solenoid not connected :whistling::biggrin:

    My steering is a little heavy but not seriously so.

     

    Mybe I pulled the wires off when I replaced the steering pump?
