Hopefully there's someone down south in the airforce, I would like to go a station visit, or better still talk to an amm. As that's what I'm currently applying for, I want to go into avionics,

 

It seems to be really hard to get a visit, I know security is very high at the moment, but the recruiter said it's a good idea.

 

 

Any insight anyone could give me would be appreciated.

Hi mate, I'm not an engineer but can host you either at Wattisham Airbase or Chivenor RMB so you can have a poke round a sea king.

The recruiter should ave been organising that. And not you.

I nearly went into the RAF years ago as a PTI. Fell at the final interview for that though as I had ran a sports centre and the guy said to go and do that then I should be accepted. I couldn't be bothered to go and work in a leisure centre or anything though. He offered one of another God know how many jobs but none of them took my fancy so I didn't bother.

 

Now I'm real out of shape and working in an office... Sad or what
