had my JWT filter & mongoose exhaust on for a while now, RPS clutch & fidanza flywheel went on a few weeks back, boost gauge in cybercraft a pillar fitted last week, JWT chip went in last week also, put boost jets in yesterday - just need to go down a size on these as its only (!) 12 psi with 1.2mm jets at the mo.

Whats the performace difference like?

performance is a nice improvement over stock - main increase from boost increase.

I think we should definitely get another meeting going - possibly early next year if we can't find a free weekend in December.

 

Spoke to Steve Burns about this at the Classic Car Show - he suggested that we "surprise" Mike Feeney at the monthly SE Z meet that he organises for the Z-club's South Eastern group. This is held every month at the Halfway House near Brentwood at the A128/127 junction.

 

The next meeting is this Sunday (which I defo can't make) .. but there's one on January 5th - if you're up for it, let's get it posted up on events ...

I presume this pub has a decent sized car park, and Mike says the food's good:D Hopefully, I'll have another Z by then, or maybe we could do the Feb one ... dates on the UK Z Club forum.

I know the half way house. The car park is very big. I'm up for this one but lets have a Lakeside one as well. Maybe a month after.

 

I'm sure the'll be some that can make it and some that can;t.

just swapped my 1.2mm jets for 1mm ones.

 

boost peaks at around 16-17 psi then drops back to 15psi.

 

took it for a run & boy does it fly!:D 160mph & backed off cos i got scared!! :o (on an mates private test track)

 

id like to keep it at this boost but i know its a little too high! need to get some 1.1mm welding tips but couldnt find any available when i got them. & yes i know i should have a ebc but i cant afford one right now. :rolleyes:

And what's wrong with taking a 1.1mm drill bit to your 1.0mm jets then? ;)

 

Or scavenge the jets from an old Webber carb, I have a sneaky memory that they're the same external dia as welding tips.. And there's bound to be something that uses a 110 main jet..

 

Or just wait till you get some 1.1mm welding tips..
