I'm wanting your ideas really on what might improve the looks of my car (externally).

 

Generally, I think I looks pretty nice but as with everything, there's always more than can be done so I'm interested in what opinions people have.

 

Please don't be shy, I certainly don't take offence if others are keen and all that.

Think he meant the vents on either side of the TT bumper. I decided to keep mine but without looks good too

Ah right, I get you now thanks to Tom. I personally think it looks best with them. But in true fashion of this thread, I'd love yours and others opinions.

Stillen type III mate

Bit of an update but not much. So as per above, I'm waiting on a Stillien Type II lip but for the stance side of it, I've ordered a couple of suspension bits as well which Russ (veilside dude with massive calves) is bringing back from the states with him. I've gone for the Z1 FUCA's, SPL Tension rods and SPL RUCA's. I also have the total HICAS delete kit to go on since my power steering pipes under the car were goosed.

 

Hopefully the above will give the car a nice stance and good look. Once done, I think the car will be more or less finished.

 

One thing I'm thinking though... The Stillen lip was suggested due to the car having skirts, should I consider having anything behind the front / rear wheel such as mud guards etc?

So yeah, sadly the car had a prang and I've decided a new shell is the way to go however, it's ultimately going to be exactly the same.

 

However, I'll give an update anyway. So, the car was pretty much finished. I bought bunch of expensive suspension parts, basically went for the top quality SPL Titanium products. Which would have sorted the way the wheels sat in the arches. I have the tracking etc done on the rear and boy it sat spot on. They garage didn't wish to do the front as the steering arm was bent and told me to replace before hand. I bought brand new Oem inner and outer tie rods/track rods and that week the arm snapped hence the prang, I just didn't change them in time I guess.

 

Anyway, besides that, the last piece of the puzzle was the front bumper, basically getting the stillen type 3 lip. Well, it finally turned up last week just to kick me in the nuts pmsl.
