Right Guys and Gals for all you zed heads who crave some track time with your pride and joy here is your chance.

JDM North, (a facebook group) have arranged a meeting and track session at 3 Sisters Race Circuit, Wigan on Sunday the 7th June.

Price to get in is £5 on the gate for car and driver and £1 per passenger, or park outside and walk in for £3.

Track time is £20 for 10 laps, passenger £5 only 1 passenger per car.

Gates open ant 10am and the event runs all day till 9pm.

MOT and license are required to get on track and I assume you will need a crash helmet too although I believe these can be hired at the track but don't quote me on that.

There will be a meeting place and a convoy in for those who want to come, time and place to be sorted.

So you petrol heads a chance to get on track for not a lot of money.

Ill start a list

1. Ian Greenfield

2. Slick Pete

3. Gray

Thats an interesting looking event Ian. Looking at the track layouts and its more common use as a kart track it could be a useful practise venue/event for the handling course at TOTB

Let me get Japfest outta the way first before i commit myself.

Have you ever been to the venue??

Has anyone else??

Is it pretty narrow/twisty??

Can you pass other cars on track??

HI Pete ive certainly never been although its not far from me so cant comment on the things you ask.

Im certainly going to give it a go just for a laugh.

Back from a successful Japfest. Driver and car performing well:whistling:

Lets do this one then.

PM to discuss.

Good man your on the list not too many takers so far.

There probably wont be many even on the day as most 300s are "in build" or broken down or their owners are to busy polishing them to have time to drive them:innocent:

Not a problem for me .......I have just paid entry and track time.

There will probably be the ability to book more time out on track on the day. Its an open format. Just queue up to go out when you are ready.

Somebody has put an in car vid on the faceboook page. It looks like a tight n twisty little track

They dont allow many cars out at a time so ideal for anyone thinking about a first time on track.

Speeds dont look high either so you wont be embarrassed by cars overtaking you at warp speed 5!!!

I look forward to catching up with you on the day Ian

Good Man, I just have to decide which one to take.....after ive polished it of course.

Looks like you don't need a crash helmet either although I will be testing my new sparco open face helmet in readiness for TOTB.

3 Sisters is a very technical track. Certainly exposes any understeer in any car.

I wouldn't say its a fast track but its quite entertaining and hard work. No lazy long straights!

However its good value for £20, I might head down to this but i'll be in the 650i and I doubt that'll be allowed on track ;)

I've been a couple of times karting (a long time ago now), it is quite a tight, technical track but was certainly alot of fun when I went.

I might pop down on the day and meet a few of you as I don't live far from it but I won't be taking the Zed on the track:thumbup1:

Hi Ian, I'm game:) taking the gay coloured shorty... Lol,can you have 20 laps? Or can you do as many as you like? Never been so don't know the set up.

Follow the Facebook link for most of the info.

There is a phone number to book in advance for track time or you can take a chance on the day.

Sessions are £20 for 10 laps. Book as many as you want

I'm all booked:) pre- booked 3 lots of 10 laps for £50:)you can get more on the day just to give you heads up you need both parts of your license and mot certificate for the car, oh and helmet of course.

Ha Ha :wheelchair: more like

Oooooh its game on then Mr Blobby:tt2:

At this rate we will have more 300s on track than Japfest.

Pete I'm all for a bit of friendly banter mate but that comments not appreciated. You will find I stop laughing real quick when someone has a pop at my weight.

No offence was intended and Im sorry if I caused any.

No problem but you do realise if I crash my car it's your fault coz now ill be trying too hard.

I think we will ALL be taking it steady till we see our way round.

Crashing is not an option.:scared:

On a more practical note what are your thoughts on arrival time... possible "club" parking space etc.

I can bring the "Motorsport" club banner if you think its apropriate

I was planning on getting there at 10 when it opens. Thats dependent on "greyhound sitting" arrangements!!

Think I'll be taking my shorty on the trailer lads, just in case one of us stuff it:)

I think I'll try and pop down at some point with the camera. I'll be in the 650i so not really the car for the show but I'll try and sneak in.
