Does anyone know if the LHD NA clutch pedal bracket is the same as the corresponding RHD bracket? I am in the midst of a auto-manual swap on a RHD 300ZX but all I can locate are LHD clutch assemblies. I am having a very difficult time tracking down a RHD one.

The part is entirely discontinued from Nissan in North America and nearly all other suppliers here only offer USDM/LHD parts. I know there are two different part numbers for the RHD pedal bracket and the LHD pedal bracket and ConceptZ performance in the states said, as far as they know, they are two different assemblies. However, looking up both part numbers yields the same diagrams that do not indicate either way if they're the same between the two driver sides.

I'm hoping someone here has used a LHD assembly in a RHD car or the reverse and can answer the question.

Did a bit of research for you. I think LHD and RHD brackets are different. The two images below show the

differences - the most significant seems to be the clutch slave cylinder to bracket mounting bolts. I've indicated

this on the diagrams. I'm not sure which diagram is for LHD and RHD, but I suspect the CL-4 is RHD. You could

compare your bracket against them.

There is a RHD NA being broken (parted out) on the UK eBay site. I pretty sure it belongs to one of the members

on here. Why not contact the seller and see if you can buy the bits you need?

Thanks for the lead on the part!

I have the same diagram (CL-4) in my FSM and my firewall stamping matches, roughly, that configuration. However, when I look up any Nissan part # (LHD or RHD) I get the second diagram with the reversal of the bracket-firewall-master cylinder bolts.

I found this thread on aus300zx that gives a clear picture of a JDM RHD clutch master cylinder mounting, and thus, the proper orientation of the pedal bracket:

I also know from that thread that the LHD and RHD master cylinders mount the same as the author of the thread discovered. And all part pictures of the master cylinder on various sites (Concept Z, Z1, etc.) match that as well.

I think Nissan's parts listing may just use a generic clutch bracket diagram simply to indicate correct part numbers but not the actual shape of the part.

For reference this is a pic of a known RHD NA clutch bracket; presumably exactly what I need (the mounting bolts are reversed of the part # diagram:

This all doesn't tell me though if the shape of the rest of the bracket is correct.
