Hi has anyone got a rear half of a na swb manual prop .i need one for my slicktop so I can fit my na rear subframe thanks .

I have an NA rear section but not sure if it's LWB or SWB if you can give give me a measurement from it I'll check it out.

iirc the rear prop section of an NA 538mm and the manual and auto are the same, just the front half that differes, i would imagine the swb front end is the difference.

Just been out to the garage and the one I have is 630mm face to face.

Thats a strange dimension Paul, according to info we have in the tech section:

 

manual TT prop length (spider to spider)

 

1st half... 606mm

2nd half... 508mm

 

auto TT prop length (spider to spider)

 

1st half... 489mm

2nd half... 508mm

 

manual NA prop length (spider to spider)

 

1st half... 606mm

2nd half... 539mm

 

auto NA prop length (spider to spider)

 

1st half... 510mm

2nd half... 539mm

 

distance between yokes

 

NA... 71mm

TT... 80mm

Ok, I have measured them from the center of the uj (spider) and it comes out at 539mm. Not sure it clears up the swb/ lwb point though as it only mentions manual or auto, or am I missing something.

Thats the rear half of the prop for the NA, we just need confirmation on whether the SWB rear half differs from the LWB

You might have to jack yours up mate and have a measure lol

I'm confused now I have a tt swb manual and putting a na subframe which come off a lwb na auto I have that prop too. Is It the front half back half or all of it I need for the swap .

You have two choices IIRC

Find a SWB NA rear part or a complete SWB NA manual prop.

Both are reltively rare items hence the second choice.... get the LWB NA rear half of the prop you already have shortened.

Been under the car today and measured the rear part of the prop which was about 420mm, so that means that what I have is for a LWB Z.

Think I'll get the na lwb shortend then . I wonder if a 200sx s13/14 back half will fit they have a short wheel base and use a r200 diff same as z32 na .
