Have been looking for a late TT to update my 96TT.Just spotted this 1998 manual at http://www.mcminn.co.uk

Any of you experts know:

Is "pearl purple" a factory colour?

Are these factory wheels on late cars?

Any other important differences from my old car?

yeah the purple is from 94 onwards if im correct , i looked at one before i bought me black one its was stunning with full bodykit and was thedogs bollox , but it was a NA and i wanted a TT i was gutted :( , but im happy with what ive got now so aint bothered :)

theres a link somewhere i found that list all the diferences from day 1 upto current spec, and i think the purple is a standard colour too, dont remember where i saw the link tho

Yes purple was a standard colour for 96+ ZX's.

I dont think they where the standard wheels even though the 99 ones did have an option for larger wheels for the sports version, they dont look like them.

The lights where changed in 97 I think to be better, Xeon lights I believe.

From what I can see there are no T-Tops which I think the later models most of them where hard tops.

I was thinking that the 98 was cheap.

I have seen a 1997 for sale for ยฃ19999 I think it was. But is had only done 1,700Kms.
