So the previous owner of my Z had a HKS EVC-S boost controller fitted. And I've been playing with the setting recently and am really not sure what I'm doing. I found this on the net:

Off Set Value: 0-100%. as it is increased, boost value increases. (I get this)

Response Value: 0-100%. as it is increased boost rises faster. (I get this, although a little confused by the following) tends to cause hunter/overboosting and vice versa

Over Boost Value: 0-36psi. once boost exceeds this value, control returns to normal mode (I read somewhere else that the over boost value is the pressure level before the boost controller takes over from the original solenoid (think that's the right terminology?) which is quite contradictory to what the list of definitions says!)

Warning Value: 0-36psi. when boost exceeds value, warning function activates. (I get this)

Drop Value: 0-100% when boost exceeds warning value, boost will be reduced by the drop value from the offset value that set to increase boost. (So I take it when you go over the warning value the offset value is reduced by this percentage?)

If anyone has any previous experience with the HKS EVC-S id be interested to hear your experiences with it/settings.

Thanks in advance!
