Me and the wife had been thinking for a while about adding a new addition to our family, here he is, goes by the name of Longscar Jack. Got him from the Retired Greyhound Trust at the weekend and seems to have settled into retirement mode with ease.

Well done mate, always a great thing to give these dogs a second chance. Don't forget he's probably faster 0-40 than your zed lol, bloody rapid animals.

All credit to you both for giving him a new life. Our goldens go bonkers when they go to the seaside, maybe meet up sometime?

I took him down our river front today which has a small stoney beach, don't think he had ever seen that much water before. Can't wait to have enough control over him so he can have a run about, a dog meet would be good.

a would never let him off the lead if he is an ex racing dog lol

they make great pets, lovely dogs

We've had him chipped so his 0-40 is much improved, needs a brake upgrade now, lol

 we got our dog roughly the same time as my best mate, that stage when they could run but not brake was hilarious. A snauzer and a field spaniel crashing into the walls and all over the place. We used to call him the drift dog, sliding on the laminate.
