Can anyone around High Wycombe lend a hand...

Hi,

Oil filter is jammed, slightly crushed using a tool, so don't want to drive the car.

If anyone is around High Wycombe with a stong hand, maybe you can have a go? All the garages are shut now, so I would like some help if you can...

Maybe a week up the gym would help!

I live in Salisbury and would come up but i don't think my Z would make it that far and my other car needs tax! And the police are doing a big anti-tax campaign here so i don't dare use that!

Do u have an oil filter tool to remove it?

Thanks for the offer..

Yes, I have a fabric draper tool, but not much help unfortunately.

I was wondering if typically it's more easy with the engine hot or cold - I'll try again later...

Thanks

Jez.

Its easier when its warm. Just whack a meaty screwdriver through it! Works everytime!

its not unusual for them to crush with that type of tool, just keep the pressure on & it will unscrew.

Thanks for the offers guys.

Getting angry helped.

Since I had the kit fitted it's very difficult to reach under.

A little tip from a former commercial vehicle mechanic....Tighten it slightly prior to removal!...this breaks the seal and then it a piece of pi** to undo!
