Hi guys!

Just wondering if anyone has any form of big brake kit for sale?

The cars planned to be around the 500bhp mark and with 19" wheels, the standard brakes will get a little lost.

I was looking at using Evo calipers with adapter brackets from Aus or designed myself, using the Evo X 350mm disks but I'd still end up paying around £750 all in to do that, which is a lot for second hand brakes (or at least calipers). I've also been looking at new BBK's, although they're most than I'd like to spend. These being: Ksport 356mm 8 pots for £1026, D2 356mm 6 pots for £1140 and PB-8 380mm 8 pots for £1300. The Akebono 14" (356mm) 4 pots are also an option, available from Concept Z for around £600.

Any advice/information is welcomed!

However, if anyone's breaking a car with big brakes or has a kit available in good condition, for a decent price, let me know!

Trying to keep cost down as much as possible due to the build costing more than originally planned (as with all) but skimping on brakes isn't particularly an option either way.

Cheers, Mike!

I have refurbished 350Z Brembo calipers with new Dba 5000 2 piece discs and new ds2500 pads and braided lines. No need to have brackets made either. Plenty enough for the power you are aiming for.

I'd looked at the 350Z Brembos but they only have 12.75" rotors which aren't big enough for my liking inside 19" wheels!

I don't doubt that they're a performance upgrade though, seems to be quite a common budget upgrade, but I'm looking for closer to 14" rotors.

I have an order of a wiring specialities engine loom and jecs 535 injectors coming from Concept Z when the looms are back in stock, so I'm tempted to add an Akebono 14" kit to the order... Only paid £100 import duty on £1000+ worth of parts the last time I imported stuff so it could work out a decent upgrade for the price...

Cheers for the offer and input! =)

I have 345mm Brembo discs inside my 19" wheels and they fill the space nicely. :)

They're closer to the size I was looking at, there's a 345mm Willwood 4 pot kit on eBay for £699 but I'm not sure as to how they'd perform. There's no reviews or information for them anywhere.

My 345mm discs are Brembo 350Z ones...
