After being stung by marksz at the beginning of the year I made it a personal goal of mine to help out other members with parts I was not going to be using when I rebuilt my car in June. I did kind of hope that when I contacted other members for parts that some of that spirt would have rubbed of and I'm glad to say that it did with most people that I contacted(happy days). Untill the 11th of October when I paid for some rear shocks. Since then I have been told a load of old crap about them coming a tracking number that has never tracked anything and now no response!!. So just be aware that being a member on here does not mean they are trust worthy!!

You are the seller and should of made sure they were posted correctly Danny.

 

i did gary i dropped it off myself and received a card with the parcel drop off confirmations, but i've dropped that many parcels off there recently and the confirmation card dont have tracking numbers on them i cant prove if that exact parcel had being dropped

I don't know how you expect to get repeat business if this is what it takes to get some sort of response from you rather than a long line of stories. Yes a tracking number was provided but didn't track anything and it has now been more than 4 weeks since I paid you for the shocks. If it's too much trouble to send stuff out don't trade!!

it wasnt checked in incorrectly by the bloke in the shop and now its lost and parcel 2go have no record that i even dropped it off at the shop its the second time this has happened

Unfortunately you can't prove anything and there's no evidence that anything has been posted out.

 

No tracking numbers, no tracking. They can always look things up by name & address of sender or receiver.

 

Which courier doesn't use tracking numbers? Genuine question, as every single one I have used, does. But then I don't use MyHerpes to send anything. Rather things get there.

In that case, they're probably stealing from you. A set of shock absorbers weighs a lot, and isn't something you can just misplace or forget about sending.

i'm not a trader, i have spares in the garage which i choose to sell for a more than reasonable price , i've helped alot of people out on this forum who struggle 2keep their zeds on the road by sometimes even sending out free parts. i'm not just in it for money like alot of other zed owners who are apart of the zed scene, i work alot of hours all over the country and abroad and try to fit the parts i send in around my job. 2b honest i couldnt care less if you dont buy again if i had my way i'd have the parcel back and refund you but its to late 4that. i havent got any info on the parcel yet as i've had 2mind my neice for an hour and cant get out the house but i will provide more info asap

This matter is being watched by the committee - and DKB, whatever you might say in your defence, the fact is Pig has paid for an item he is yet to receive. You claim to have posted out another set of shocks - which sounds admirable since it would leave you out of pocket - but in the event of no other evidence to the contrary, Pig remains the victim here. Not to mention the question raised by other members regarding back door trading..... I mean, why would a regular member happen to have another set of shocks to sell?

 

That issue aside, as said previously, what happens outside the forum is of no relevance here - but a trade gone bad, conducted on this forum IS our business.

 

Gary has warned you regarding your aggression towards the innocent buyer - so instead of going on the attack (or defence for that matter) just do the right thing. Make 100% sure Pig receives his purchase - however many sets you *may have to* send out - or refund his money right away. Simples.

theres no aggression if someone calls me a liar publicly i have a right to defend myself and if i was being aggressive i'd quite openly admit it.

Wise words Dave and when the thread first started we discussed what to do and to close the thread and just use the pm system to communicate was mentioned but we decided to let it run and just moderate it. But if the thread starter wants it cleaned or closed till a finale outcome is reached then it will be done.

No gripe, he's never ripped me off as I have had no dealings with him, just empty words on the net. I'm just very aware how posting items works with regards to tracking as I send items all over the world most days.

noz hasnt got any gripe against me, he was just defending the good of the forum as always

i know its not my decision 2make but i would like pig 2keep it open please
