Hi Guys.

changed my bulb units on the headlights to HID's, now all seemed okay but now the dark nights are upon us, it appears that one side is brighter (or dimmer) than the other, now any ideas what this could be? bulb, wiring, gravitational pull of the sun.....

Any suggestions welcome

My money is on a dirty/bad earth.

i purchased the additional loom for my kit which takes a feed directly from the battery via a switching relay controlled by the original light connector. It supposed to eliminate any problems like this.

I connected the red live wire up to the oem loom as normal, but connected the black earth wires from the ballast straight onto a ring terminal each side and bolted to good earth points.

What kit did you get and where from with the loom?

You need to point your car a few meters from a wall/garage and look at the beam pattern first, could just be an adjustment issue - if so fingers crossed therefore your cogs aren't goosed !!
