I need a good condition N/S rear light unit as I bought a set a while ago and it arrived smashed......

One without any chips or cracks please.....

Nice work Russ, i'm doing some very similar and will have them finished this weekend. Tell me all those in the bottom chamber plus the smd bulb i take it are all yellow/amber ? If so have you enough in there !!!

 

The top, the star bulbs are for brake ? Sidelights are still going to be coming from the filament bulbs or i expect a dual smd bulb ?

Thanks Phutumsch...... The Led's in bottom chamber are amber ones from china.... I have been testing and adding more until I got an even lighting effect across the entire section.... as the new LED replacement bulb was brighter in it's segment than the rest of the bottom section...

Top star bulbs are for brake only at the moment, but I may be adding resistors and diodes so they just backlight the section when lights are on and go to full luminance when the brakes are applied.... Not sure yet.... still fiddling.... lol

I am still using filament stop and tail bulbs in red as I haven't found any dual smd LED versions that give me the oem look and peace of mind that I really want at the moment..... I originally was only doing a clear lens build.... lol

It has sort of spiralled from there after seeing your lights at JAE.......lol........ So for the minute..... filament it is.... lol
