Couple of months ago my brake lights stayed on!

The problem was the green brake pedal stopper had disintegrated so not pressing on switch.

This was fixed, I ordered one from America $3.2! Shipping was $42.00!

Now I need one for my cruise control because this has disintegrated too!

Anyone found a cheaper alternative? What can be the best? I don't want to wear out the plastic switch.

Delete the useless cruise control?

I bet the switch is generic, I doubt it's specific to the z32 or maybe even that pedal. I've used a fair few parts off other Nissans, pathfinder, 200sx etc. If your so inclined find another 90s Nissan that has cruise and find a junker, bet it's the same switch worth a go for a few quid.

Hi Stephen!

I want the cruise control! It's a nice feature in my opinion!

I don't mind getting this green stopper from the USA!

All I am asking is there an alternative?

Re read what I posted; I bet it's a generic 90s Nissan switch, bit of research and I'm sure you will find one off an easier to source Nissan. Once you work that out is probably even available as a repro part from euro car parts etc, I got a pathfinder reverse switch for £12 new from them it's the same as the £70 z32 one.

You could also source a functional one from a breaker.

I've got a few cruise switches / pedals art? Can check them and let you know condition if you like?

Stephen...I think he wants to replace the "green rubber stopper" that what the pedal rests on...he is not after a switch.

You could also try Nissan.

Get the part number (either from online or ask Ash - adl-phoenix) and your dealer. Sometimes, just sometimes, they don't charge astronomical prices for parts.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)
