Either later this year or early next year I will be getting a nistune board installed to my ecu.

 

Prior to this I was planning to buy conzult/datascan with the cable for diagnostics.

 

If I have a nistune board installed and get the nistuen software, does this allow you similar diagnostics, or do I still need to buy one of the others?

No need to buy anything else if you're getting Nistune. I typically keep them in stock, so give me a shout if you need any information :)

Ahh that's good news, I suspected Nistune would do it all, but wasn't 100%

 

My car is heading to it's garage to hibernate till the Spring shortly, if funds allow I might go for it before it goes away, otherwise early next year mate.

With Conzult you can diagnose/monitor the Engine ECU, AT-ECU (if applicable), Aircon ECU (if applicable), HICAS ECU (if applicable), Airbag ECU (if applicable)

With Nistune you can monitor Engine ECU and do some Engine diagnostic routines, but Nistune is mainly focused on and used for remapping.

I've yet to come across an engine issue that Nistune is unable to diagnose, be it via the active tests or monitoring realtime values :laugh:

 

Full Conzult is €139 for the software only, I personally wouldn't say it's worth it in addition to the Nistune software.
