Hi guys and gals. I have a problem and I'm not sure as to the cure. When idle the engine has started revving and falling like it's searching for fuel.

Has anybody else had this?

Does anybody know a cure or have an idea what is happening?

All suggestions will be noted.

Thanx

First thing to do is to check all the injector connectors and temp sender for corrosion/green oxidisation.

Could be the ecu is not reading the air to fuel ratio due to a bad connection, also check the maf plug. Ideally getting the car plugged into consult or scantech to check for voltages.

Try unplugging your MAF and see if it stops hunting... Could be an air leak. Same happened to me for a while when the recirc valve had a hole in it! I could also hear a hissing noise from the bay!
