I was hoping to arrange something different for this date (big secret lol) but I couldn't get arranged parking at the venue on this day

So....... I was up town today and someone left a leaflet for this event under my windscreen wiper

Runway Display

Stafford Car Show

The car show offering visitors a diverse range of events and displays to view or participate in. Runway Display is located in Stafford on a former airfield with 5.5 Acres of tarmac to accommodate thousands of cars ranging from modern Super Cars to Retro and Classic rarities!

Highlights include a 4x4 Off Road course, Rally track and Stunt drive experience! Children need not be left out as there will be a Bouncy Castle and other rides to keep them occupied.

http://www.runwaydisplay.co.uk/

Cost is £3.00 to exhibit - and apparently there are discounts for car clubs

This looks like a fun day out - As it is close to me I am going to display my car anyway even if just as an individual (looks like they have lots of space so we can still get in)

Is anyone else interested in joining me and waving the 300ZX banner?

Obviously I need to move pretty quick on this one so no dawdling now lol

Convoy meeting point for those heading M6 south - J17 Sandbach Services. Anyone heading M6 North - there is an industrial estate near M6 J14 we can meet up with you

It's open to the public 10am-4pm mate

This was the first time they have held this event. The flavour of car was a little different than other classic car shows I have been to - with more emphasis on sports cars and modern cars

I grabbed a few pics of anything that caught my attention so here are the non Z ones

I hope you enjoy them

And the last few....

As you can see this was somewhat different from the usual classic car show

Probably more suited to the petrol head and also the younger drivers who are into the hot hatch scene as there were a lot of custom/modern cars on show

However it was an enjoyable day. Hopefully the organisers will pick up on a few points - the venue (disused air strip) was the ideal venue for this sort of showw and if they can get an even better attendance next year it could become a more major event.

Nice pics Rich. The event was good for a first attempt. Would've liked to have seen more classics there but the venue was great. Sorry I didn't have time to speak to you guys much but was trying to keep Harry occupied & was queuing for food for about half an hour. Will be in the zed next time.

Well its late in the day most of the cars and crowd have gone home we are left with 3 zeds and an empty runway.......hmmmmmm what do you think happened next.
