How did your conversion go Russ, Any issues? Im about to embark on the same task lol

Was a bit of a mission as had no idea what went where, never worked on a TT Z..... once i got the intercoolers, pipes, ECU, Fuel Pump, Radiator, Oil coolers and associated pipework, boost controller as I used NA harness and deleted 'everything'...... lol

It was fun and it actually hasn't fallen out or self destructed yet......(reaching for a piece of wood!)......

Not too bad if you have a TT to work from..... All I can sy is make sure you have everything you need before starting...... I still have to find the reason for max boost only being about 8psi.... but will get leak tester and find it soon.....

If you need to find out anything just PM, email or text me........

Cheers for the info, i got a TT im pinching everything from, so ive got all the bits and im using the NA loom too, with everything deleted lol

Sort of looking forward to it, but i didnt want to strip the TT if i could help it, but with 2 possible knackered NA engines, im going to have to bite the bullet lol

Take loads of pictures close up of all the pipes, etc.... before starting to strip it... you will also need to make mounting brackets for radiator as the NA brackets are further out, narrower TT rad....

I used some aluminium angle bracket and bolted it to the old NA mounts, drilled holes and mounted the TT rad to it..... worked well till I can get round to some detailed fabrication..... lol

Thinking of biting the bullet and getting back into cars, audio, alarms, underselling, waxoyl, powder coating parts, polishing, fabrication and shot blasting, etc.... lol

Need a change of job...... lol

A regards to this with the Rad Support Hangers if you look carefully or feel for lumps or indents u can drill out the spot welds and then relocate the hanger and weld them back in place.

(As regards to relocating them when you take the hangers off you will see a in-cut where they were placed if you look further away from the hangers that you have removed you will see the same in-cuts this is where they should be placed if you were doing the conversion just make sure you double check with your TT Rad before welding it back in)

(Hope this helps)

(Ive currently just done this process on my Z)

Covered in spiders webs and dust, slight kink in middle of it to be honest..... looks worse in pictures due to the flash..... will clean up well I think....

It has sat in my garage for a few years and had no leaks before......

Your welcome to it if it helps, I can package it between 2 pieces of plywood to protect the core for sending it.......

Sorry about the intercoolers......

Hey bud,

Thankyou for your fast response!

Spider webs and dust is all good :) lol I can give it a clean as it would be such a help. :)

(If you ever need any parts and I have them in one of my boxes in the attic id be more than happy to help you out in the future)

Ps no need to be sorry, I can only imagine how pissed off you are (Such a pain in the ass to find those parts let alone at a reasonable price)

If you could pack it with pieces of ply board id be highly grateful did you want me to arrange a carrier? or did you want me to send payment via paypal as a gift?

Many Thanks

Lawrence

Hi bud,

Don't mean to be awkward........ just noticed your reply I may have to put this item on hold for just a couple of days as I have been offered a Mishimoto with lifetime warrantee for a price too good to be true (when I mean too good to be true stupidly cheap). So just seeing how it plans out at the moment because I believe for the price I got offered no doubt it will fall through.

Sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience bud.

No probs..... Hope you get the Mishimoto and for that good price.....

Let me know and I will put it back up free to good home.... lol
