First dyno run of Zed, not sure what to make of the figures...

I've attched copies of printouts.

Car is a 93 Import Twin Turbo.

Has boost jets, zedworld chip, japspeed decats and kakimoto backboxes, apexi filter, arc side mount intercoolers and running colder plugs.

Boost jets are supposed to be giving a bar, but on the graph it's making around 0.83 or so.

Torque figure seems ok to me, but power seems low?

There really is no need to be running boost jets nowadays :(

It's not running much boost and the AFR is into the 10.xx range. The JWT map is rudimentary and not much different from the standard high gear map. You're a loooong way from me, but I'm sure there is someone in your neck of the woods that will be able to get a much better result from your car :)

Car back on the rolling road today.

Changes since last time 555 injectors, new fuel pump, nistune installed and car then mapped.

What do you reckon guys?

Feels much more responsive.

359.2bhp @ fly?

That's achievable on stock inectors, stock fuel pump, stock everything. The difference in power outputs is in line with the additional boost.

Based on the last map, more fuel was the last thing you needed. Why the upgrades?

Graph is much better, more to be had though

The upgrades were there as I was expecting the car would make more power/etc so would need extra fuel.

Plus with the Nistune I thought they would be able to make use of the extra fuel, but it leaves things open for future improvements.

Noz, I also think the extra power/torque is simply a by product of the extra boost.

The garage seem to think thats decent and reckon it needs more work to get more power, but I think they can't be as good at mapping Zeds as they are other cars.

It really needs a trip to Mr Noz, to unleash the true potential, if I spend another penny the wife will kill me though lol.

The torque is nice, and it does feel quicker, even though it was wet on the trip home.

One thing at least it isn't going to run lean lol.

What sort of AFR reading is optimal on boost?

I don't know when Noel, wether it be this year or next, but I will have to let you work some magic on the car at some point.

Maybe setup a Scottish Zed Mapping week lol.

The AFR is alright. It doesn't want to be any leaner at peak torque, though.

How long did it take? Just wondering if blanket changes were applied to the fuelling due to certain similarities in the AFR curves.

Unfortunately I wasn't present mate, car was dropped off before I went on holiday, just picked it up today again.

They are very busy, I would say they won't have spent as much time as a pure mapper like yourself, I think it's just been a case of get it running ok with the 555 injectors and jobs a goodun.
