stock turbos are capable of that if you add the right bits first

Well my engine is swap'ed from TT with automatic tranny, so the turbos are smaller. A GT525 kit would be perfect!

For some reason I can't pm you.

I have a set of garret gt28rs, gt675 or gt2860 which ever you want to call them.

They are ceramic coated with hks actuators.pm me for details.

Thanks Dan

It's strange, but I can't PM you either. Could you please e-mail me all details? sales@quick-garden.co.uk Thank you.

Silverline, very interesting. Can you please post the mod-list?

Silverline is more the exception than the rule and the tubs will not last long at that level. People like Steve & Noel are pushing stock turbos to the max with the knowledge they'll expire and will be replaced by something bigger. It shouldn't form the foundation of a reliable 500+ build

Yep, I know it's a hardcore but still it's interesting to know.

^^This.

Standard OEM turbos will expire sooner rather than later at the boost required to hit 500bhp. Mine are still going strong for the time being but they are under a huge amount of strain.

Steve's already replacing his, and I'm chomping at the bit to do mine, but I need a final figure for Auto turbos with the current spec and hopefully some aftermarket downpipes.
