boost leak testing

Hi, when I have boost leak tested my car I can hear what seems to be air spinning both turbos up, Is this normal ?, Is there a better way to check for the leaks than using ones ears ?

 

Anyone got a boost leak detector local to Wolverhampton that i could beg borrow or steal to test my car whilst it is in pieces please ,

 

What is the max i should put into the system ?
