Is this low speed roughness or throughout?

If it's low speed, clean the throttle bodies. If it's throughout, hopefully there'll be a techy along in a minute!

OK, I have to ask this - where on the island do you give it a blow out? Not much of the tarmac is smooth and almost none of it is straight!

Cheers - Gio

well its rough at low speed . and

as you know montserrat not too mugh straight roads

.. went to this place we call lookout roads smooth

but not too straight.. thanks much..

For the throttle body clean, I found this on AndyP's site http://www.300zx.org.uk

I think Jeff also said you have to clean the back side of the throttle butterfly valve as well.

The point of this is to ensure that the airflow is nice and clean and doesn't confuse the ECU.

After Jeff did mine, the low revs roughness disappeared completely and gave a lovely smooth pick up.

Once done, you shouldn't have to do it for another 10 years! And I think opinion is that this one of the first steps to do to cure rough running problems just to eliminate it.

(Given the 20mph limit, what about the police? Or did you have a go during their anniversary function at the Bitter End?)

Well I reckon you should clean the throttle bodies once a year and I reckon the more knackered your turbos are then the more often you will have to do it !

I also found that just resetting the ECU (after cleaning the throttle bodies) made my car run very smoothly.

well i went straight out and bought some gumout

ask my mechanic to clean throttle bodies..

hope it will be zoom zoom .

will post if all is ok.. thanks for adv....
