ok just want to see peoples views on this. let say mrs blogs from the uk does not agree with immigrants flooding to the uk if mrs blogs just say nothing then all is well if mr blogs say I don't like immigrants coming to the uk then he is called racist. so if you think about it if he agrees with immigrants coming in then he is ok and nothing is said if he speaks up then he is called racist. so that's like forcing him into agreeing and that's cant be write. I was just listening to 2 people today talking about this I went home and was thinking about it it seem like mt blogs if being forced into agreeing even if his view is no more immigrants in to the uk. so whats going on there seems like he has to agree sorry for the bad grammer hope you can make sence if that .

That is racists though. It's ok to hate an individual because you don't agree or get on with them but to hate a person because of the colour of their skin or where they came from is wrong. It's quite clear cut really.

In my experience you get classed as a racist by the people with the opposite opinion if that is an easy way for them to win the argument. The older generation lose out because they grew up in a different time when you could use those words. All I can say about it though is if you can't use the n word like clarkson is in trouble for then why is it featured so much in everyday life? Who's played gta5 for instance?

It depends on your reasoning, context and content is always key.

 

If you don't want immigration because the country is overloaded with people already, the services aren't up to holding current population levels already etc. I.e its a technical perspective that is saying this is a poor idea, because X,Y,Z that's fine.

 

If you don't want immigration because you take a dislike to a certain group, or anybody that's not the same as you. That's racism, black and white couldn't be clearer.

 

Personally, skilled hardworking migrants contribute to our economy greatly, fulfilling roles we cant fill for whatever reason. I'm talking professionals here, doctors etc. The problem is however that we as a nation are attracting vultures, here for a free meal ticket. Probably more of those than the skilled migrants we need sadly. We certainly don't need rafts of unskilled workers, we have our own unskilled people to do these jobs. This is the problem with opening the flood gates to Europe.

 

We are all aware that there's a large portion of native people who scum off society and the hardworking taxpayers, that refuse to do these unskilled job, this is the argument for allowing this form of immigration, that's counter productive though as were gaining native and non native scavengers. We need to address the influx of unskilled migrants and force these people into work. (there are genuine ones as well it must be stressed) However this is a different topic and pretty complex and grinds many peoples gears.

I see what your saying, however his views are considered old fashioned and offensive to a lot of people and the majority of the public don't hold that view. It's a rather shallow mind point he has. Britain has been taking in immigrants for the past couple of thousand years. We wouldn't have bread, plumbing, roads etc if we didn't, not to mention Curry. It's like when those extremists were shouting abuse at the soldiers marching in Luton. It's not a thing we as a society want to here. We do have freedom of Speech in this country but it comes with the responsibility to not shoot of every thing that goes through your mind..

You can technically express any damn opinion you want.
