lower pulley bolt

Hi Guys, Just a quick question what is the best way to re torque the 27mm lower pulley bolt. Is it best to put the car in gear and hold it on the brakes or jam the fly wheel ring gear ?

    Nothing so involved, with a socket and ratchet handle in place tighten by hand and then with a rubber hammer on the ratchet tighten further easy 10 second job, done hundreds like this with no problem.
