Does anyone know the best place to buy parts for model cars? 1:18 scale. Been looking on eBay but there doesn't seem to be much choice for wheels & exhausts etc. I couldn't resist buying one of the damaged model Zeds that were on eBay last night so looking to take it apart & modify it a bit seeing how it's already damaged, might even respray it if I've got the time.

Nice collection! Hav you ever changed the wheels on any of them? I want to do that next but looks quite hard.

from what I know you can change the wheels but they won't spin as you have to glue them in place ,I think some models you can un-screw the wheels

Don't think these will screw off, not bothered about them moving as its only 4 display anyway.

Finally got round to changing the wheels. Still got to touch the paint up a bit.

I don't have a 1/18th scale 300zx ,I struggle to pay £100 plus for one ,I got a nice r/c one I use for driffting

This one was only about £30 as it had light scratches on it. I do have another one which was £90 but probably worth more by now.

Very nice Tom. Where did you get the wheels from?

  • Author

Off ebay Baz, they're quite easy to remove & fit aswel. Just gota cut a bit of plastic away so the wheels line up with the arches.

Modified another one. I got this quite cheap off eBay, nothing wrong with it just no box.
