Is this odd?

Hi, thought I'd spend some time on the zed today, as I had a water leak down by the ECU ( passenger foot well ) the leak has now been sorted I thought I'd check all the connections to all the stuff down there, basically unplugged everything carefully to check for any corrosion and to my surprise everything was clean and dry. so I just sprayed all connections with Pirelli electrical joint compound to make a good contact and to prevent any oxidation in the future............... now my car seems to be running faster than before????

 

any idea's?
