Guys i have a question about the timing marks,how many times will i have to rotate the engine by hand(plugs out)to get all 5 marks to line up again,would i be correct in saying 6?Thanks guys

Ah just seen a video,he said it would take 12 times

If your talking about the sprocket markings against the back plate and the crank mark against the oil pump case mark just remember the cams turn at half speed to the crank, so two turns of the crank to one turn of the cam sprockets.

 

However if your talking about all five markings lining up and the belt markings lining up again at the same time, then forget it, will be hundreds of turns maybe even thousands.

Yea jefftt i ment the belt marks and the 4 cam and crank markings,the marks line u every time on the belt to the the back plate,,nothing is jaming while i turn the crank so all must be ok.Thanks jeff
