just been welding last few days all is been ok just set the welder up turned it on soon as i pressed the trigger to weld its a mig welder its just tripping the house mains off have no idea whats going on or could the welder have a fault ? any help please would be great

Are you running on an extension cable?

Try testing it dirrect from a socket if possible on low power first.

I can weld fine on low current but had to upgrade my trip to a 20 amp if I use the higher settings. U might have a week trip

bri turned out had the side of the welder the fan had worked its way lose and fell off in side. bolted it back up welder seems of now so some how that was making it trip must of been touching somthing inside making it trip
