Hi guys got a problem with my front seat used to work but suddenly stopped. Took seat out and checked wiring seems ok and there's voltage to the main wire and switches when plugged in. Motors you think? Or is there a fuse somewhere?

Do you mean that you couldn't locate the fuse location or the fuse itself was missing?

Have you found the fusible link holder (the black oblong box in the picture above)? It is located

just behind the drivers side suspension tower. The fuse is marked "P.WDW P.SEAT" (2nd in from

the right). Pull the cover up and off to see the fuse itself.

Are you hearing a click or whirring noise when you flick the switch on the seat? if you have power, try some switch cleaner in the switch housing, ie take off the plastic cover and squirt inside the switch rock backwards and forwards, up and down and see if that works, my passenger leccy seats often need a squirt if they dont get used much.

Hi Andrew ive checked the fuse and its fine I guess im looking at a motor issue then? But looking at the seat underneath seems there's a couple of motors wondering why they have both gone, seems odd

Are your power windows still working? There is a circuit breaker on the Fuse Block by the drivers kick panel which may

have failed and is shared with the power seats and power window. When you said you checked " there's voltage to

the main wire and switches when plugged in" were did you measure that (refer to the BF-34 diagram I posted above)?

Have you checked the continuity to earth (car chassis) at the seat connector M83?

When the seats suddenly stopped working, had you been doing any work on the car which may have disturbed the

power supply (or ground) to the seat?

not interior work no, windows still work yes. the seat had been acting strange for a while, by sometimes not working then working. will have to get a sparky to look at it as I don't know a lot about electrics. thanks for your reply though.
