Hi folks,

I spotted a small blot of oil under the very front of the car this morning - it had run forwards along the under tray before dripping onto the garage floor. It appears to be from the little two-core oil cooler in front of all the other radiators; some of the cooling fins have clearly rusted away and, I suspect, a small hole has formed in one of the cores.

The oil is clean, red/pink in colour - so would the 'cooler be for the auto transmission or for the power steering fluid?

Also, does anybody have a good 'cooler for sale please:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yes Richard that`s the cooler for the pas, another more of that undeniable over engineering by Nissan and fitted to UK zeds not imports, linking out is the quickest and less costly way to sort the issue never heard of anyone having overheat issues with their pas ....

.......Cheers Jeff; and you're right matey, I have never heard of anyone having PAS overheating issues either! The car is going into the garage for an MOT and oil change on Tuesday - I'll get them to by-pass it with a metal tube or the like:wink:
