After years of listening to dross on the radio - every local radio station playing mile after mile of simply red, Beegees and all that safe soapy middle of the road, anodine, bland, your-mother-would-like-it, nauseating shite music or the alternative stations that play sickly boy/girl band, R&B (it's just soul music with makeup) - there is light at the end of the tunnel!

 

This afternoon I was listening to a test transmission of Kerrang Radio - from the Kerrang magazine people - courtesy of the new service replacing ITV digital. Music wiv attitude- at last - something to get your teeth into! F****g great. Can't wait till it launches! Might be DAB only - if it is I'll be buying a DAB unit for sure.

I long since gave up on music radio (except the odd internet stream of Virgin natch)

 

Its fivelive for me from now on..

 

Its about time that there was an alternative 'pop stars in their eyes' thing.

 

The winners are the band who take the most drugs, smash up the most equipment, entertain the most groupies and generally abuse themselves in colourful and creative ways;)

 

The music would be great.

 

They shouldn't be shooting Tupac and Jam Master Jay, they should save the caps for Pete Waterman, the tw*t.

Yeah Kerang TV has some great music.

Whey-hey - sounds good ....

 

I'm a regular channel 454 user, in fact, after a few years in the wilderness with music, the good 'ole Kerrang channel has led to multiple album purchases over the last few months:D :D

 

Love it to bits ... also, I find decent nu-metal soundtrack is ideal for enhancing the 300 driving experience!!:cool:
