How is your clutch fluid level? It maybe that you will need to bleed the clutch.

If you press the pedal repeatedly does the free travel become less?

fluid level spot on and hasnt moved since i changed the clutch mastercylinder and slave cylinder with new ones. and no the peddal travel is the same weather car is on or off but the cluth dose seem hard like its going to go pop if the cars not running but i always leave my car in gear and when i go to take out gear dont like the feel really when car not started thou.

Yes i have read them and im going to have a go at the peddle later, but i am also wandering how many other people have a cetan amount of travel in there peddal.

I've got a certain amount of play in mine, too. I'm sure Jeff wrote a guide on it, it's often caused by wear in the pivot bush on the pedal itself.
