Without him South Africa and the surrounding nations could quite easily have ended up like so many of the other African nations with civil war or dictators.

 

He always came across as a very humble man, always with a smile and will be missed by more than just South Africa.

 

RIP Madiba

With DeKlerk, he removed Apartheid from South Africa, but far greater was the man, that his message went across the world to engage people to be more tolerant and accepting of all colour and cultures.

It seems these days that there are many from other beliefs who would like to undo the good, but his legacy is strong and will i believe remain the roadmap for the future.

 

RIP Nelson Mandela.
