but I agree with Car.mad, Its definitely (in stock form) the best looking from the big 4 :)

Typo - you mean worse looking of the big 4. Looks very dated now and boxy.

Thanks Gaz! Yep they are very pretty cars imo. The one I`m looking at is very similar to that but slightly newer with the revised headlights, they don`t pop up anymore :( I think they look a bit more muscular than the zed. I would never swap my Zeds, and only buying this one as a winter bruiser and not arsed if i prang it whilst my zeds are wrapped up in the garage ;)

Only reason to get one is the retro cool of pop up headlights (I'd love a car with pop up headlights :cool2:)

Why don't you put your TT on the road over winter and very for the summer.

Hello Phil!!! Last time I seen you was over the fence in my garden lol :)

No! I really mean it...its definitely (IN STOCK FORM) a prettier and more muscular car than dare I say it ...than the zed, the Supra and Rx7!!!! oh and the NSX ;/

I personally think its aged well, dont worry! I will still be your Zed friend , but just fancy something for the winter and this terrible snow were going to have

Oh.... and the one I`m thinking of getting doesn't have pop up lights ;p but knowing you that why you said it ner ner

Honestly!!!! Are they that bad? Ive just watched and old Top gear with Clarkson driving the 3000GTO and RX7 ,he loved them both and couldnt decide between them :p

I kinda like the GTO, but actually find it the least appealing of the big four. It doesn't have the road presence the Z has, it has fussy lines, strange stance and just a look of oddness about it. That said, I find it strangely appealing, but it's not elegant, sexy or attractive like the Z32 is, the interior is interesting, but gloomy.

As for driving one, they're 'ok' for a large GT car, but they don't set your pulse racing. 2wd versions are front wheel drive too! Eeeeek!

I find the smaller FTO a more appealing car visually. Far neater and more pert. It's just a shame that most you see now are either battered or have had an Airfix kit blended into them....or are a miserable combination of the two.

Old age is obviously affecting your brain. First time I've heard a 3000GT/GTO described as better looking than a NSX.

The FTO has always been a bit girly imo, but does look solid and well built. This car I`m looking at is totally standard apart from the black aftermarket 18" which really suit it, and someone has painted the roof and rear spoiler black, to be honest it looks superb and not tacky, I love, want and need it :)

Yes, particularly a NA. I've got one of Clarksons Xmas vids where he's comparing it against 10 or so other cars along with Richard Burns and someone else. The 3000GT was one of the first to be discounted as a big heavy lump of shit.

Well maybe not the NSX, But!!!! Ive never really been a fan of it,I know its technically a brilliant car for its time, but always seemed a bit drab, long and skinny imo

Really? One of the prettiest cars to come out of Japan....in like....ever. Before I started ploughing loads of money into my Z, I toyed with the idea of getting an NSX.

thats VERY pretty Si!!! the camera angle make`s it look better , it is a beautiful car without doubt. the side view always spoils it for me.

A lad round Southport used to have one, a silver one, It just looked plain and ordinary and he looked a bit of a dick in it for some reason, don`t know why? ..just something abut it

the side view always spoils it for me.

Can't see anything wrong with this. :)

Really early series 1 versions I agree need more gurth around the bottom, but that is all and later style parts fit on the lower sections. I prefer the early cars with the slightly extended (stock) skirts and valances from the newer one. The pop up headlights look better.

But still, early ones still look nice.

You've picked a bad example there. A set of wheels would sort that out. The Z32 wheels on JDM cars look like that at the rear. Inset and unflattering. GTOs, you can't even have staggered wheels because of the 4WD system. They sit really oddly and there's little you can do to the car to give it a pleasing stance.

Easily sorted with the NSX, Z32 and Supra.

thats fooking SEXY!!!!

Poor stance though and that's probably all you can really do with it. Looks ok, they just sit really strangely, can't quite put my finger on it. I also think all those dummy vents aren't really appealing. GTO is 'nearly' there, but always looks awkward. I kinda like 'em though, but I don't get an aroused when I see one. lol
