Bumped into the local plod last night at home, they were undercover looking out for stolen cars. Very nice chaps indeed, which is novel.

 

Anyway I have a cat 2 immobiliser and diderly else!!!!!

 

Im going to get a starring lock and gear stick lock.

 

But I also want an alarm, imp not worried about it not being a cat one. Just something that will alert me in my slumber!!!

 

Any suggestions?????

 

Also how would I get central locking in me 300?????

 

And has any one got an alarm that works with the central locking.

 

As always im looking to keep the price down and don’t mind DIY kits!!!!

An Autowatch CAT 1 alarm works on mine great and the Tracker Monitor combines to a nice reduction on the insurance premium.

I got a Cat 1 alarm fitted when i bought my Z. It had a Cat 2 already....

 

It was quite a simple upgrade as it was a Laserline alarm...

 

Also if you want the Central locking to work properly you will need a motor fitted to the drivers door.....

Try Canterbury Car Audio, They upgraded my Cobra Cat1 to full closure and added extra sensors.

 

Didn't your insurance co. offer a lower premium with a Cat1? You might ask, the drop in premium might cover the cost of a professional install.

 

Don't know why I'm saying this - you probabally won't thank me! What was going wrong with the delimiter? Same as you posted before?

Yes just didn't make the car happy in 4th, just started hitting the limiter at diferent speeds in 4th, mainly around 5500rpm.
