I know that a few people have swapped their TT rear subframe and diff for an NA one... but is it possible to simply swap the diff assembly itself from a TT into an NA subframe...?

Featured Replies

no m8 the diff is slightly off set and Smaller

Hence why the frame needs swapping over too

Bah! :(

I fancied the idea of losing all the Hicas gubbins but keeping the TT's ratios. Oh well....

but if you ant got a na pump and pot whatcan you deleate with a elinmination kit. dont you do something to the pot and pump?

Yes, you can just loop the Hicas in/out from the Pot if you dont want to replace them.

so what you saying is were it comes into the pot then out again i can deleate all the pipwork upto the pot until i get one and just put a feed out to other one /side iif you know what i mean?

ok the Main hicas supply pipes that go to the rear of the car can be removed

then there is Hi Pressure line and Pot feed 2 banjos that sit right on top of the hicas control unit in the engine bay

the small link pipe is removed

you cut the Banjo end of the remaining line and join it up to the Pass pot feed

NA diff is an R200 right, UK spec S14 has an R200 with the same ratio as a TT Z32.

No, he's saying the Nissan 200sx S14 uses the same Diff as the 300zx NA but with 300zx TT ratios.

I've no idea if thats correct, but the R200 is used in various other Nissan vehicles, with various ratios.

Pretty sure some skylines have the na ratio r200, however they have a better quality diff and retain the 6 bolt drive shafts. It may even fit in the tt cradle. Expensive though, probably not worth it.

I think Jaffa is using an R32 GTR R200 Diff, or at least he was looking into it a while back.

I just bought a BNR32 unit to put in my S15, an affordable 2 way that you can easily live with day to day. Also can easily be overhauled or even upgraded since it's the same basic unit as a Nismo GT.

If you want a r200 diff you will have to use a na z32 subframe I looked into s14 s13. Skyline subframes nothing will fit .
