Just a quick question my chassis/vin does not seem to come up on any of the ranges that ive seen and just wondered if it was me not reading correctly.

ive looked on the chart thats been posted and just a bit curious now.

if you wanna post up your vin plate info i can try and decode it for you if thats what your after mate

my vin is gcz32 017048 on a 92 n/a LWB.

if you open your bonnet on your car the metal plate by you engine has your car info on it if you can get it all i can decode it all

all the parts show the year 92 but on speaking to nissan they seem to think that my car was exported to another country before coming into the UK although they wouldnt give any more info.

Mmmm, it might sow up on Nissan quick or whatever it's called, a few guys on here have it...

 

what is the number on the fire wall (behind the engine) is it the same as on the vin plate?

all the numbers seem to match but just curious for some of the history of the car. i think ian_300zx going have a look for me.

cant find nothing mate the vin you put up is only 11 digits long a standard vin is 17

Thank you for looking mate I will double check again. That's all the numbers it had on it though.

That's no problem always here to help I was wondering why no one was recognising then realised it only had 11 digits see what the v5 document has as that should have the vin

The v5 has the same number starting ZG32- will see if I can get Nissan to check although I'm sure they will not give any info over to me.

I expect he just used the Nissan FAST system. I dont seem to have it installed anymore, but a lot of members used to have it.
